About the Management

It was established as the Deanship of Faculty and Staff Affairs under the royal approval of the minutes from the sixty-seventh session of the Higher Education Council (formerly) through royal directive number 8439, dated 3/2/1433 AH. On 27/3/1445 AH, the Deanship was transformed into the General Administration of Human Resources. The first dean was Dr. Mohamed bin Ali Al-Musharraf, followed by Dr. Faraj bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Dr. Ahmed bin Khazim Al-Ayyashi, Dr. Mafdi bin Rityan Al-Sharari, and currently, Mr. Faraj bin Khalifa Al-Shammari, the current Director of the administration.

According to the organizational structure, the administration is linked to the university’s vice presidency and plays a vital and central role. This includes recruiting and attracting top-tier talent, applying relevant laws and regulations, and addressing the university's human resource needs. The administration strives to provide the best services to the university’s staff through several departments and units under its oversight, including:

  • Assistant Director-General of Human Resources
  • Administrative Development Department
  • Human Resources Operations Department
  • Salary and Compensation Department
  • Internal Communications Department

The administration gained national recognition after hosting the first Deans of Faculty and Staff Affairs meeting from universities across the Kingdom, held from 12/4/1434 AH to 13/4/1434 AH at Northern Border University.
