About the Management

The Management of Faculty and Staff Affairs was established according to the High Approval of the Late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister, and President of the Council of Higher Education after approval of the minutes of the Council of Higher Education's 67th session dated 3/2/1433 AH. The Management of Faculty and Staff Affairs takes the pivotal role​ of employing distinctive competencies of nationals and ex-pats to achieve a distinguished position for the university's graduates, research centers, and community services at the national and international levels. The management contributed to the admission of many workers to the Northern Border University, representing various working segments of professors, administrators, health workers, teachers, and staff. Employment at the university depends on identifying the need and announcing vacancies, with priority given to citizens first in recruitment. The criteria for recruitment are based on scientific qualification, assessment, experience, good conduct, passing tests and interviews, and the necessary medical examinations.

General Goal

The Management of Faculty and Staff Affairs takes the pivotal role​ of employing distinctive faculty members of nationals and ex-pats on different payrolls to achieve a distinguished position for the university's graduates, research centers, and community services at the national and international levels. The management is also responsible for salaries, allowances, and monthly financial compensation.

 

Tasks 

  • The management contributed to the admission of more than 2,000 workers to the Northern Border University, representing various working segments of professors, administrators, health workers, teachers, and staff, who work together to achieve the university's vision and mission according to its strategic plan.
  • Employment at the university depends on identifying the need and announcing vacancies, with priority given to citizens first in recruitment. The criteria for recruitment are based on scientific qualification, assessment, experience, attitude, passing tests, interviews, and the necessary medical examinations. 
  • The Management relies on Saudi Arabia's rules and regulations as a basic reference in human resources management.
  • The management is distinguished by the quality of its staff, a selected elite of specialized competencies who hold specialized scientific qualifications, experience, and good conduct.
  • Characterized by its robust organizational structure, which achieves a clear division of responsibilities and powers without overlapping or duplication of functions.
  • The management relies on digital solutions in the work environment, such as a platform for recruitment, evaluation, attendance, archiving documents, administrative communications, social media, and text messages. Accordingly, the Management has obtained the International Quality Certificate in Human Resources Management.
